The Manteo varsity soccer team hosted John A. Holmes of Edenton on Monday night, Oct. 28. It was senior night for MHS.
Justin Ortega was named Manteo Soccer Player of the Game. MHS won the game against the Aces 5-0. Noah Goetsch of MHS made two goals for his team. Trent Hayman, Carter Calvio and Richard Hernandez each score one goal for the Redskins. Offensively and defensively, Manteo was able to come out strong over John A. Holmes.
MHS ended their season on a seven-game win streak. They were named the Albemarle Athletic Conference Champions.
