Pig Out To Pitch In First Flight MS Fundraiser. 4 to 10 p.m. at any of the participating restaurants:  Aqua Restaurant and Spa, Bad Bean Baja Grill, Cosmo’s Pizzaria, Five Guys, OBX Frozen Yogurt, Jack Brown’s, Red Sky Cafe, High Cotton, Plaza Azteca, and Outer Banks Brewing Station. A portion of the proceeds will go to FFMS PTA.

SATURDAY, Oct. 26  

Dare to Scare 5K Walk/Run and Sweet Treat Fun Run. 9 to 11 a.m. at Dare County Center. 950 Marshall C Collins Dr, Manteo.

Trashfest 2019. 9 a.m. to Noon. Clean the beaches with us and then head on over to the Outer Banks Brewing Station for free food, drink, and live music from local band Mosquito Net.

Wooden Boat Show. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Roanoke Island Maritime Museum, Creef Boathouse and Park, and in the water at Roanoke Marshes lighthouse dock. Manteo Waterfront.

Harvest HayDay. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Elizabethan Gardens. Harvest Hayday at The Gardens will feature: a fall piñata, make and take crafts, games, cupcake walk, scarecrow stuffing, bake sale, apple roll, educational stations, a bonfire and concessions.

Brewtag. Noon to 6 p.m. at Soundside Event Site, 6800 S. Croatan Hwy., Nags Head. A celebration of flight and beer, OBX Brewtag is modeled after the whimsical and entertaining Red Bull Flutag, translated to “flying day” in German. Admission is free.

Halloween Party. 2 p.m. Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo Community Building, across from Chicamacomico Life Saving Station, Rodanthe. Games, pumpkins, prizes, a great food feast mark the annual event sponsored by the villages’ civic association.

Trick-or-Treat Night. 4 to 7:30 p.m. at First Flight Elementary School. Admission is $2 per person and please bring a non-perishable food item for our food drive. Games and Trick-or-Treating is always free. Tickets available for Haunted House, Cake Walk, Photo Booth, and Crafts.

Barrel of Bones in Hatteras Village. 7 to 10 p.m. Show up with $5 at the Village Civic Center to be transported to the trail. The village’s civic association sponsors the event.

Boograss Halloween Bash featuring Breaking Glass. 7 to 9 p.m. at 107 Budleigh St., Manteo. Costume contest with $500 cash prize and Bluegrass Festival ticket giveaway.

6th Annual Outer Banks Halloween Parade. 2 to 5 p.m. at Aviation Park in Kill Devil Hills. Admission is free. Trick-or-treating, costume contest, and a parade.
