A 3D science project at Wanchese Christian Academy for Rachel Thompson’s middle school science class was completed just before the holidays.

Students started with a PowerPoint including diet, defense mechanism, habitat, scientific classification breakdown and unique facts of their individual large animal. This was followed by a research paper. Then each student had to expound by creating a 3D object to construct on each area of the PowerPoint. Students then presented their material and knowledge. Suprises and laughter filled the class with all the statistics given.

Elementary students enjoyed their STEM project of simple machinery. Students of Bridget Reynolds were able to choose a useful simple machine to create an inclined plane, wheel and axle, lever, pulley, screw or wedge.
