First Flight High School students ‘take flight’ with their own coffee shop

Public welcome to visit café, support students

The Take Flight Cafe at First Flight High School is flying high, reports Dare County Schools.

Local coffee shops have partnered with FFHS students to provide training and help them develop their menu, which now includes aviation-themed espresso drinks, coffee and other caffeinated beverages.

Get the latest headlines sent to you

The cafe is open Monday through Friday from 7:45-9 a.m. The public is welcome to visit the cafe and support students. Cash is accepted.
