Cape Hatteras Secondary School has announced that senior Madison Fiscus has committed to play sand volleyball for St. Andrews University, where she will continue her athletic career as a member of the Knights.
Fiscus is set to join the St. Andrews sand volleyball team for the 2025-26 season.
In addition to her impressive volleyball skills, Fiscus plans to major in psychology at St. Andrews, where she will combine her passion for sports with an academic focus on understanding human behavior.
“Throughout her time at Cape Hatteras, Madison has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication on and off the court,” noted the CHSS announcement. “Madison’s commitment to St. Andrews University is a testament to her determination and work ethic. Cape Hatteras Secondary School looks forward to supporting her as she embarks on this exciting new chapter.”
“I am beyond proud of Madi for pursuing volleyball at a higher level! It brings me so much joy to watch kids fall in love with the sport of volleyball, in whatever form that is,” said Coach Brittany. “She has set a great example for her teammates that she leaves behind, and I hope more will follow in her footsteps! It was an honor to watch her improve every year, and we will miss the energy she brings to the court!”
