Lloyd Denver Fincham, 86, of Harbinger, NC passed away December 18th, 2024 at The Outer Banks Hospital in Nags Head, NC. Lloyd was preceded in passing by his parents, Oscar and Viola Fincham as well as his wife, Peggy Fincham and six of his nine siblings.

Raised in Cecil Township, PA, Lloyd was employed in the steel industry in Pittsburgh, PA for over 20 years. Lloyd married Peggy Gaschler in 1960 and they were together for over 60 years. Their union produced one son – DJ.

In his youth Lloyd was a champion drag racer and a competitive powerlifter. Throughout his life, Lloyd liked to fish, work in his vegetable garden, and bird watch. After his career in the steel industry, Lloyd and Peggy moved to the Outer Banks to be closer to DJ and wife Tammy. In addition to his son DJ and daughter-in-law Tammy, Lloyd is survived by two grandchildren, Jace and Charles; two brothers; one sister; and a host of extended family members and friends.

A graveside funeral was held at Laurel Memorial Gardens, Friday, December 27th, 2024 at 2 p.m. The viewing was two hours prior from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Gallop Memorial Chapel in Barco.
