Nags Head Church has announced the 5th Annual Christmas Stop, set to take place over three consecutive nights this year.
“Join us on December 12th, 13th, and 14th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Climb aboard the Nags Head Church Railroad Co. train and immerse yourself in the festive sights and sounds of the Christmas season,” invited event organizers.
Thousands of twinkling lights will adorn the property at 105 W. Soundside Road in Nags Head, transforming the grounds into a winter wonderland. While a white Christmas is a rarity on the Outer Banks, there will be snowballs flying at Nags Head Church in the snowball arena, creating a wintry atmosphere.
Gather around to hear the Christmas story while enjoying hot cocoa and delicious cookies. Capture the moment with family photos at designated photo spots. Children can chat with Santa, have their picture taken with him, create a Christmas keepsake, and watch a favorite Christmas movie.
“This Christmas Stop promises to be a cherished family tradition!” noted the event announcement.
Everyone is invited to this free, family-friendly event. Donations will be accepted to benefit the Beach Food Pantry; consider helping the Dare County community by bringing canned food items.
