Anthony “Tony” Imperiale of Hatteras Island displays a nice puppy drum he caught on Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head on a recent Sunday.

Fishing remains steady despite the ocean water temperature making its slow fall decent.

A large black drum was was caught the next morning when it was blowing hard from the northeast and the water temperature was 66 degrees.
