Joey Imperiale caught this 18-inch black drum while fishing with his grandfather Tony at Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head on a recent Tuesday. The elder Imperiale, a Hatteras Island resident, volunteers his time as a fishing instructor for the education department at the pier.
