Attention homeschool families!
Join us for a Homeschool Club interest meeting, November 7, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. at NC Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center, located at 120 Community Way in Barco.
We will discuss program areas, field trips, 4-H opportunities at the county, district and state level and how we can support the homeschool community here in Currituck.
There will be craft and gardening activities for the kids to enjoy while we discuss details about dates and times and potential project areas. There will also be a Zoom link for those families who are interested but cannot attend the organizational meeting. There is no cost for this event but we do ask that you register for this event so that we have appropriate numbers of supplies and snacks on hand. To register, visit https://homeschool_interest.eventbrite.com.
4-H is North Carolina’s largest youth development organization, equipping more than 263,000 young people each year with the skills to succeed and improve the world around them. 4-H programs and camps encourage young people to “learn by doing,” helping them to develop into active, contributing citizens. NC State Extension and the Cooperative Extension Program at N.C. A&T State University coordinate 4-H programs statewide.
