Leilani Ray, RN at the Center for Healthy Living, was named the Outer Banks Health Team Member of the Month for September. She joined Outer Banks Health in May 2023.

“Since her first day, she has provided excellent support, guidance, and ideas to the team. She places a high value on patient safety, offering several suggestions for change within the clinic in support of better practices,” noted the announcement from Outer Banks Health.

With her calming demeanor, Ray has a ability to make genuine connections with each patient. She is “incredibly dependable and exhibits superb communication with her team members, providers, and patients,” the announcement continued. “She is approachable and responds with professionalism when asked to accomplish a new task. She gives appropriate grace to her team members and offers praise and positive feedback on a consistent basis.”

Ray “is a true joy to work with and a wonderful resource for Outer Banks Health,” shared a team member. Another stated “she also is a fantastic team player, always willing to help out a team member.”
