Clydette Overton was recently given the oath of office as alderman in the Town of Columbia by Mayor James Cahoon. She was selected to serve out the remainder of the term of Lloyd Armstrong, who resigned when he moved from the community. Overton joins aldermen Hal Fleming, Sandra Owens, Lynda Mastronardo and Bryan Owens on the Board of Aldermen.
