Reagan Stoop named ODAC Offensive Player of the Week

Reagan Stoop of the Bridgewater College women’s volleyball team has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.

The sophomore from Belhaven had a weekend to remember in her home state as she led the Eagles to a 4-0 record on the weekend in Raleigh without dropping a set.

Stoop racked up 48 kills in 10 sets played last weekend and swung at a .381 clip. Saturday, September 7 saw Stoop rack up 17 kills without making an error against Oglethorpe University in the first match of the day, followed by 18 kills in a win over Meredith College later in the day.

This is Stoop’s fourth ODAC Player of the Week selection in her career after earning the weekly accolade three times last season.

Coeducational since its founding in 1880, Bridgewater College is a private, four-year liberal arts college located in the Central Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Today, Bridgewater College is home to approximately 1,450 students. The college offers more than 60 undergraduate majors and minors and four graduate programs housed within three distinct schools.
