Jimmie Wendel Mims, 83, of Moyock, died June 20, 2024 at Sentara Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City. He was born in Chilton County, Alabama. He had 23 years of Naval Service.

Celebration of life will be held at Crawford Township Volunteer Fire Department, Moyock, on June 29 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Church of New Beginnings and Crawford Volunteer Fire Department.
