If you knew Salina, you know she had impeccable timing with her jokes. She was very witty and had a wonderful, dry sense of humor. She loved to go to the beach at Pea Island on the Outer Banks and shoot hoops with her son – really doing anything with him as he was the center of her universe. She had a fierce work ethic. Salina was incredibly strong during her fight with ovarian cancer for seven years.

Michelle is honoring Salina’s directives for cremation. No memorial services are planned, but a celebration of Salina’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA) on Salina’s tribute page at https://tribute.ocrahope.org/salinamoose. Sentiments of love and sympathy may be shared with the family at www.gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services was entrusted with arrangements.
