Virginia Beach man arrested on drug charges following Avon traffic stop

A Virginia Beach man is facing several drug charges following an Avon traffic stop.
According to a Dare County Sheriff’s Office press release, on June 6, 2023 at approximately 1 a.m., Dare County Sheriff’s Office deputies working the C-District, along with North Carolina Highway Patrol, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in Avon near the Food Lion on NC Hwy 12.
“Probable cause was established to search the vehicle,” stated the release. “During the search the Deputies located and seized a trafficking amount of Cocaine, over 250 grams of Marijuana, US Currency, Marijuana Paraphernalia and Drug Paraphernalia.”
Noah Robert Sizemore, 42, of Virginia Beach, Va., was arrested and charged with felony possession of cocaine, felony trafficking in cocaine, felony possession with intent to sell or distribute cocaine, felony possession of marijuana, felony possession with intent to sell or distribute marijuana, felony maintaining a vehicle, misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sizemore was given a $155,000 secured bond.
