Columbia man facing drug charges following Kitty Hawk traffic stop

The Dare County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of a Columbia man following a Kitty Hawk traffic stop.
According to a DCSO press release, on June 14, 2023 at approximately 10:52 p.m., deputies working the A-District conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on US 158 near Tateway in Kitty Hawk.
“A DCSO K-9 was deployed around the vehicle and alerted to the presence of a controlled substance,” stated the release. “The vehicle was searched and an amount of Crack Cocaine, Marijuana, and Drug Paraphernalia were located and seized.”
Michael Anthony Webb, 37, of Columbia, was arrested and charged with felony possession with the intent to sell or deliver cocaine, felony maintaining a vehicle, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and cited for open container of alcohol.
Webb was given a $15,000 secured bond.
