The Dare County Sheriff’s Office has reported that it is investigating a Roanoke Island burglary that included injuries.

According to DCSO, on May 21, 2023 at approximately 4:23 a.m., Dare County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Criminal Investigations responded to a burglary that had just occurred at a residence in the 100 block of Etheridge Road in Manteo. “One victim was assaulted and taken to Outer Banks Hospital with non-life threatening injuries,” stated a DCSO press release.
