The Dare County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of two Manteo women following the search of a residence.

According to a DCSO press release, on February 26, 2023 at around 2:45 p.m., deputies working the B-District were asked to assist on a search at a residence on Daphne Lane in Manteo.

“During the search an amount of Marijuana, Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia were located and seized,” stated the release.

Kristi Dawn Gray, 42, of Manteo, was arrested and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Gray was given a $25,000 secured bond.

Trisha Anne Hooper, 40, of Manteo, was arrested and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Hooper was given a $10,000 secured bond.

NC Probation and Parole and the Manteo Police Department assisted.
