The marbled godwit (Limosa fedoa) is an attractive, cinnamon-brown shorebird with a long bill.
Like most shorebirds, the marbled godwit feeds on small worms, snails, crustaceans, aquatic invertebrates, insects, aquatic plant tubers and even small fish.
These were seen on the Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge.
