Manteo, NC – Cynthia “Cindy” Lynn Miller, 61, of Manteo, NC died Monday, December 12, 2022. She was the recipient of a heart on April 26, 2022.

Cindy was employed by Food Lion in Nags Head, NC, where she was the DSD District Lead and Trainer. She was an avid fisherwoman and Baltimore Ravens fan. She loved spending her free time fishing and you could always find her cheering for the Ravens whenever they were playing. Cindy was always there to lend a hand whenever someone was in need.

Cindy is survived by her significant other, Carol Edmondson. Also, surviving is her mother, Nina Kirby; brothers, Jim Miller (Hope) and Pat Miller (Elizabeth); her nieces and nephews; Mike and Donna Elliott, Brooke Elliott (Jarred) and Michael Elliott (Chloe). She was preceded in death by her father, Elton Miller.

A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Twiford Colony Chapel in Manteo, NC.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Cindy’s memory to the Manteo Lions Club (PO Box 636, Manteo, NC 27954) or the Outer Banks SPCA (PO Box 2477, Manteo, NC 27954).
