The Kill Devil Hills Police Department is seeking the public’s help in solving a road rage incident involving an assault that occurred near US 158 and 3^rd Street the night of November 13.

According to KDHPD, at around 8:15 p.m. Sunday, two men in a black Dodge pickup truck followed the victim to the Dare Centre parking lot where they assaulted him.

The assailants were described as “skinny white males, one with long brown hair, the other with shorter blond hair.” There was a washing machine in the bed of the pickup truck.

Those who witnessed the incident or who have information are asked to call KDHPD at 252-449-5337 or the Crime Line at 252-473-3111. Police are also particularly interested in talking to anyone who sold a washer or dryer on or around that day.
