The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is holding in-person and virtual public informational meetings to provide information on the Red Wolf Recovery Program.
“We look forward to engaging with you, because we need you, and America’s red wolf needs you too!” stated the USFWS meeting announcement.
There will be opportunity to meet USFWS’s red wolf team, learn more about the Red Wolf Recovery Program and engage with the team directly with questions. Both meetings will feature a presentation by USFWS staff, followed by question- and-answer sessions. Questions may be submitted in advance at redwolf@fws.gov, online during the registration process for the virtual meeting and live at the in-person meeting. When submitting questions to the redwolf@fws.gov email address, note in the subject line whether the questions are for the in-person or virtual meeting.
The in-person meeting will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the 4-H Center, located at 100 N Clover Way in Columbia. For directions, go to eastern4hcenter.org/directions.aspx.
The virtual meeting will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. Registration information may be found at fws.gov/project/red-wolf-recovery-program.
