Michelle Lynne Colella of Kill Devil Hills, NC – age 51, born April 24, 1971 in Bristol, PA, passed away unexpectedly.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather – Barbara and Sean O’Dea, daughter – Brianna Hubbard, son – Charles Fisher, grandkids – Ethan and Millie Hubbard, aunt and uncle – Tina and Charles Berger, cousin – Kelli Kestel, and beloved cat – Oreo.

She is preceded in death by her father – Harry Carnahan, brother – Rory Carnahan, maternal grandparents – Margaret and Russell Berger, and paternal grandparents – Mary and Edward Carnahan.

Michelle loved her grandkids. She always had a big smile on her face when she was with them. She got to spend her last two weeks with them making memories. Michelle was a big animal lover. She was always seen helping with neighborhood cats and other animals. She was often called the cat whisperer. She loved the beach and gardening. Michelle would always give a helping hand to people, and was not afraid to tackle any project. She was a great handywoman.

There will be a celebration of life at Avalon Pier at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to help with expenses.
