Anglers enjoyed another good red drum bite last Thursday afternoon off the end of Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head. The ocean water temperature that morning was 66 degrees.
Also hitting the deck were small speckled trout, gray trout, flounder, sea mullet, black drum, spot and bluefish.
Starting Monday, Nov. 1, the hours for the pier switched to 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
