Daniel Lanier Britt Sr., 74, of Elizabeth City, died October 10, 2021 at Waterbrooke Assisted Living in Elizabeth City. He was born in Lake, SC on August 3, 1947 to the late Alfred Clyde Britt Sr.,and Mary Edith Daniels Britt.

Survivors include wife Glenda Raper Britt, sons Daniel L. Britt Jr. (Janet) and Kelly S. Britt (Jenifer); daughter Rhonda Wood (Jesse); grandsons Jacob Britt and Derek Wood; granddaughter Amber Britt West (Tyler); sisters Mary Pearl Britt Lee and Sandra Britt Dennis; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Gerald, Alfred (Bodie), Billy and Tommy Britt and sister Jean.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on October 17 at Twiford Memorial Chapel. Twiford Memorial Chapel is serving the family. www.TwifordFH.com
