Fishermen aboard this sportfishing vessel troll for Spanish mackerel and other species just south of Jennette’s Pier last Wednesday morning when the ocean was clear and warm with little surf.

On the pier, anglers were catching albacore, bluefish, croaker, pigfish, pinfish and pompano, as well as Spanish mackerel. Jennette’s is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. this time of year.
