Jeffrey Mason Hendrix, 59, of Moyock, died September 7, 2021. He lived with muscular dystrophy for much of his life and battled a severe medical condition in recent months.

Jeff was born in Elizabeth City on June 19, 1962.

He was preceded in death by parents Tim and Doris Hendrix and special friend Jeannie. Survivors include sister Ellen Owens (Buddy) and niece Abbigail Owens and other family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held September 12 at 2 p.m. at the Gallop Memorial Chapel, 4055 Caratoke Highway, Barco. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with local arrangements. gallopfuneralservices.com
