Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation donates $2,000 to Currituck Education Foundation

The Currituck Education Foundation, Inc. recently received a $2000 donation from the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation. Josh Bass, CEF board member, accepted a ceremonial check presented by Winnie Wade from Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation.
“The generous donation of $2,000 will support our endowment fund to benefit the Currituck Education Foundation,” stated a Currituck Education Foundation press release. “Our endowment is a fund of the North Carolina Community Foundation. Thank you for your donation that will help our endowment fund continue to grow and provide us with sustainable fund earnings that will benefit our mission and programs for generations to come.”
The Currituck Education Foundation supports public education in Currituck with funding to meet needs, in order to create an engaged, educated community. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the foundation engages in fundraising and collecting donations to make schools better in Currituck County. “We are proud to support the students and educators and generous donations like this will help us to give back to the Currituck County Schools,” stated the release.
