Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge is home to a large population of black bears.
The three bears here are seen keeping an eye on what’s going on around the field they’re crossing. Maybe they’re looking for Goldilocks?
Black bears have good hearing and an excellent sense of smell. They can see very well close up, but don’t have the best long-distance vision.
