Outer Banks Anglers Club to hear from artificial reef coordinator at next meeting

The Outer Banks Anglers Club will hold its next meeting on Monday, 26 July, 2021. Guest speaker Jordan Byrum is the artificial reef coordinator for the NC Division of Marine Fisheries/NC Department of Environmental Quality.
Byrum is planning to discuss the new Artificial Reef 165 as well as AR160, AR140 and AR197. He will also provide a side scan of the new AR165 and placement of the rubble on the AR140 and AR160.
“This should be a very important meeting for any angler who wishes to fish our local reefs especially AR165,” stated the meeting announcement.
The Anglers Club is now meeting in a new location: Kitty Hawk United Methodist Church, 803 West Kitty Hawk Road in Kitty Hawk.
