Daniel J. Gentile Sr., 64, of Currituck, died in his sleep at home July 19, 2021.

Born to the late Pasquale and Constance on December 9, 1956, he started life in Queens, NY. He served in the United States Navy.

Survivors include wife Virginia; brother Patrick Gentile; sons Daniel Jr., David and Anthony; grandchildren Khloe, Giuseppe, Giovanni, Annabella and Cora.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at 3 p.m. on July 31 at Gallop Memorial Chapel in Barco. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements. www.gallopfuneralservices.com
