GEM collaborated with Cady Breslin, marine educator with the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island, to present a class for staff and volunteers in “best practices” for community inclusion for individuals experiencing Alzheimer’s and related dementias.

“We thank Cady for organizing this class and the volunteers and staff who participated,” stated a GEM press release.

Organizations interested in learning more about community inclusion should contact Gail Sonnesso at 252-480-3354.
