George “Georgie” Ben Williams Jr., 77, of Swan Quarter, died April 10, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

Georgie was born in Hyde County on September 22, 1943 to the late George Ben Sr. and Hazel Ballance Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., April 14 at the Swan Quarter Baptist Church. Rev. Jimmy Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Williams-Carawan Family Cemetery.

Surviving are wife Carol M. Williams; daughters Denise W. Williams and husband Raymond, Karen W. Dunbar and husband Todd; grandchildren Kayla D. Mizelle and husband Reid, Marcus Williams, Katie Dunbar; two great-grandchildren; sister Rosemary Williams; brothers-in-law Chuck Mann and wife Linda, Eddie Mann and wife DeeDee, Paul Mann and wife Robin and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit with the family at the homeplace on 2470 Quarter Road, Swan Quarter.
