June 8, 1939 – April 6, 2021

Southern Shores, NC – Barbara Jones Nock, 81, of Southern Shores, NC passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. She was born in Norfolk, VA on June 8, 1939, and was the daughter of Dallas Linwood Jones and Rebecca Pauline Bryant Jones. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Eva Roselle Jones Watson and her beloved husband Richard Edward Nock. Mrs. Nock graduated from Norview High School in 1957 and attended the College of William and Mary, Norfolk Division.

Mrs. Nock lived in Norfolk, Newport News, Virginia Beach and Vienna, VA. Also, Media, PA, and Forest Hill, MD due to her husband’s occupation. Mrs. Nock was a realtor for 25 years licensed in Virginia and Maryland. After retirement in 2002, she moved to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She was active in the community and serving in her church the Outer Banks Presbyterian.

Mrs. Nock is survived by two sons, Brian Keith Nock and Barry Todd Nock, and their wives Lora and Michele. She is additionally survived by loving nieces and nephews, wonderful friends, and a caring church family.

Funeral service will be held at the Outer Banks Presbyterian Church, 907 South Croatan Highway, Kill Devil Hills, NC on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Jody Moore officiating.
