The First Flight Rotary Club’s Rotary Rollin’ to Fight Hunger event set for Friday, March 19 has been postponed due to anticipated bad weather.

The event will now be held Friday, April 9 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

The community is invited to drive through for a free bagged lunch, including grilled hot dogs. This is a fundraiser to fight hunger in Dare County and donations to benefit the Beach Food Pantry will be collected from those able to give.

The event will be held in the Captain George’s Seafood Restaurant parking lot in Kill Devil Hills. This will be a COVID-safe event: lunches will be to-go and there will be no on-site dining.

The Beach Food Pantry reaches out and provides nutritional assistance to Dare County residents in collaboration with the community.
