Manteo Rotary Club member Skip Morgan and his wife Linda recently presented Rachel Veal with a Paul Harris Fellowship. Veal is a horticulturist at the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island.

A Paul Harris Fellowship, named after Rotary International’s founder, is often used to honor someone for extraordinary service. Veal was recognized for her work with the Roanoke Island Community Garden over the past four years as garden manager. She has been generous with her time and gifts of plants in helping fellow gardeners.

On behalf of the fellow gardeners, Linda and Skip Morgan were pleased to present Veal with a Paul Harris Fellowship certificate and pin.
