State of the County moved to Jan. 27

Dare County and the Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce announced a change in date for the upcoming virtual State of the County 2021 presentation.

The event, which was previously scheduled to be held on Jan. 20, will now be held one week later, at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021.

Dare County and the Chamber of Commerce invite residents and visitors of the Outer Banks community to view the virtual presentation, which will be delivered by Dare County Board of Commissioners Chairman Robert L. “Bob” Woodard Sr.

Get the latest headlines sent to you

Due to restrictions on gatherings caused by COVID-19, the event will be livestreamed on Dare County’s YouTube Channel, www.YouTube.com/DareCounty.

Viewers who have questions for Woodard will have the opportunity to submit them via email during the presentation for a Q&A session that will end the event.
