The Food Bank of the Albemarle, in partnership with Colington United Methodist Church, will visit to the parking lot of First Flight Elementary School on Thursday, January 14 from 4:30-6 p.m.

When participants drive up to the check in, do not get out of the vehicle to register. A volunteer will approach and take information. Volunteers will then load the groceries into vehicles. Leave sufficient room in the vehicle for volunteers to load the groceries. If there is insufficient room, those individuals will be directed to an area where to park and load their own groceries.

Food will be distributed to area residents who struggle to make ends meet and are in need of emergency food assistance. This may be senior citizens living on fixed incomes, disabled persons, any individual or family currently receiving food stamps and working families who are making tough choices between buying food and paying for other necessities.
