Pound net set proposed for Scuppernong River

Marvin Ray Davenport, from Columbia, proposes to set one pound net in Tyrrell County.
The proposed location is on the Scuppernong River in the vicinity of #8 marker.
This set will be for other finfish and will be approximately 161 yards with 1 pound. The proposed set number is PN202007.
Public comments relative to the proposed pound net set must be received prior to Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020.
If it is deemed necessary, the fisheries director may hold a public meeting after the comment period has ended to take additional public comment on the proposed pound net set.
