Flu report for North Carolina

One death in North Carolina has been attributed to flu this season, which started Sept. 27, 2020, according to the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
The NCDHHS reports influenza-like illness remained low for the week ending Nov. 28, 2020. Of the 659 specimens submitted to the State Laboratory of Public Health for viral testing in the last week, two were positive for influenza: one type A unsubtyped and one type A H1N1.
The Public Health Epidemiologist network reported no positive influenza virus results out of 1,752 samples tested during week ending Nov. 28, 2020.
