On the eve of the sturgeon moon, a group of locals and their out of area guests went fishing with Capt. Greg Mayer and mate Billon Hollingsworth on the Fishin’ Frenzy out of Oregon Inlet.

Mayer, of Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks fame, knew where to find the fish.

The six hit pay dirt, releasing two blue marlin and one sailfish as well as snagging yellow and blackfin tuna.
