Frances Hodge

Frances Marion Cowell Hodge, 91, of Elizabeth City, died September 1, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Elizabeth City on July 26, 1929 to the late Edward Duke Cowell and Millicent Charles Grice Cowell. She was preceded in death by husbands Joseph C. Guillette and Bryon F. Hodge and grandson Joseph Everett.

Fran is survived by children Christie Goldman (Jay), Mike Guillette (Bea), Marty Guillette (Vanessa) and Jane Chappell (Rick); nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother Edward Cowell (Carol); sister Betty Medlock; and other family members.

Service will be held at 1 p.m. October 31 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 40 Pintail Trail, Southern Shores. The Rev. Cindy Simpson, Rector will officiate. Twiford Funeral Home, Elizabeth City is assisting the family. www.TwifordFH.com.
