Pound the Sound and rock out at a live cardio jam session in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in support of the Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation.

Pound the Sound is set for Friday, Oct. 23 at 5:30 p.m. at Kite Point Sound Access between Buxton and Avon. Participants are asked to wear pink and bring a donation for the cancer foundation, as well as a beach towel, water bottle and Ripstix. Ripstix will be provided if needed.

The event, hosted by April Bodiford with the Fessenden Center, is open to new and experienced “rock stars.”
