Wanchese Lions Club welcomes new members

At the Wanchese Lions Club meeting on September 22, Past International Director Gwen White inducted a new member of the Wanchese Lions Club, Lion Sean Moore. Moore is being sponsored by Lions Marvin and Martha Worrell.

Also at the same meeting, White presented to Lion Marilyn Davis her membership certificate. Davis was inducted at a previous meeting by District Governor Mark Bateman, but her membership certificate was not available at that time.

The Wanchese Lions meet at the Wanchese Community Building every second and forth Tuesday at 7 p.m. Anyone interested in the Lions Club and their work is welcome to attend.

The Wanchese Lions Club was chartered February 1980 and has served the Wanchese community since that time.
