Esther Mae Morris of Chesapeake, Va. passed away on August 5, 2020 at her home surrounded by family.  She left this world at the age of 85, going to heaven, where the roses never fade.

Born in East Lake, NC to the late Dorothy and Sylvester Twiford, she was predeceased by her latest husband William F. Morris and her first husband Robert Patrick.

She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, kind eyes and loving ways. She was loved by everyone that knew her and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her children Lee Patrick (Rosie), Vicky Patrick, Darcey Morris (Kristi Evans); her grandchildren Christina Rogers (Will), Timothy Patrick (Charity), Jessica Patrick and Caroline Witherspoon (Jeffrey); 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a good friend named Gracie Gard.

Her remains will be buried in the cemetery behind the East Lake Methodist Church in East Lake, NC. The family will have a private ceremony at the gravesite at a later date. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
