Tyrrell County Schools to begin school year with remote instruction

According to an announcement from Tyrrell County Schools, the Tyrrell County Board of Education voted Monday morning, July 20 to open the 2020-21 school year under Plan C for the first semester. Plan C calls for remote learning.
“We will monitor the situation every 30 days, with the intentions of moving safely to Plan B and eventually Plan A,” stated TCS.
“We will continue to address the remote learning experience and release the final details of that plan in the coming week,” the release concluded.
