Engelhard – Dorinda T. Gibbs, 69 died peacefully at her Engelhard, NC home June 26, 2020. Though she bravely battled a chronic illness for the past few years, her smile and graciousness never changed. Before retirement, Dorinda resided in Nags Head where was a well-liked, long-time employee of the Town of Nags Head.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband Frank Gibbs of the home, the couple’s six children and their families including five grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives, in-laws, loyal friends, and former co-workers.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Powell’s Point Baptist Church. Donations in Dorinda’s honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
