With the 2020 district and state 4-H horse shows being canceled due to COVID-19, many are looking forward to the AQHA Endless Summer show to be held August 21-23 at the Bob Martin Ag Center in Williamston.
Endless Summer will offer a 4-H team tournament with $500 being awarded to the high-point 4-H team. Teams will consist of five 4-Hers per team. If your county has a team of five, that will be your team. If you are the only rider in your county, you will be put on a team. The prize money will go to your 4-H club. Monies will be divided if a team wins with riders from multiple counties.
There are also other youth non-AQHA jackpot classes. Your horse does not need to be an AQHA registered horse to compete in the 4-H team tournament or jackpot classes. All breeds are welcome.
For more information or accommodations for persons with disabilities, contact Tom Harrell at 252-232-2262 or email tpharrel@ncsu.edu no later than ten business days before the event.
