Kenneth Arnold, 61, of Elizabeth City, died peacefully May 9, 2020, surrounded by family.

Ken was born on April 4, 1959 in Detroit, MI to the late Thomas and Doris Arnold, the second youngest of five children.

Ken started his honorable 20-year Navy career in 1980 as a Boiler Technician working on ships and traveling the world. He was proud of his service and retired from the Navy in 2000 to spend more time with his family.

He is survived by partner Sharon Hobbs of Elizabeth City, son Keith Arnold and wife Heather, of Sunbury, daughter Heather LeVan and husband Bradley, of Carmel, IN, and daughter Alyssa Arnold and soon-to-be-husband Zeek Williams, of Merry Hill.

Ken’s cremation will be followed by an intimate family memorial celebrating his life.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to one’s favorite charity, volunteer organization or food bank.
